ST. PAUL, MN. -- Longtime New York Congressman John McHugh was in St. Paul this week at the Republican National Convention. He talked about his latest visit to Iraq calling the progress "remarkable."
McHugh has been to the Middle East nine times since the war started, and three times since the surge began.
McHugh said voters in the 23rd District should pay attention to the details of McCain's campaign.
"Whether you're looking at the 10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum, and you're concerned about their safety and welfare or you're concerned about the future of the United States military, you're concerned about small businesses, tax burden, regulations, smaller government, John McCain's on the right side of the issues," said McHugh.
