This year's butter sculpture was one of the most popular attractions at the New York State Fair and you can rest assured it won't go to waste.

The New York State Fair may be over but the cleanup is just beginning. Hundreds of vendors and exhibitors are packing up and clearing out of the fairgrounds. News 10 Now's Brad Vivacqua reports.

Fireworks also marked the end of the state fair's run. The shows are typically put on during the first and last days of the run.

The 12-day run comes to an end. More than 900,000 people turned out to this year's state fair.

Labor Day marks the end of the New York State Fair and while many people spent the holiday walking the fairgrounds, others spent their day working there. Nneka Nwosu takes us behind the counter to find out what it's like to work as a food vendor at the fair.

Thursday, August 21st is the first day of the fair and it’s also Governor’s Day. Some of the highlights include an all day ride tickets for just $25, a grape exhibit in the Agriculture Building, and you can swing western style to the sounds of Asleep at the Wheel in Chevy Court.
