PRATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- A 10-year-old girl has died after drowning in Prattsburgh.
Police say Katie Fields was walking on a pool deck at her home around 4 p.m. Thursday when she slipped and fell in. Her mother pulled her out of the pool and did CPR until paramedics arrived.
Fields was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where she later died.
