TOWN OF WHEELER, N.Y. -- A man is arrested for operating an illegal junk yard in the Town of Wheeler.
Police say Wayne Scofield, 46, of Batavia was operating an unlicensed scrap processor on Fritz Hill Road. He now faces several charges of unlicensed processing equipment, including a felony charge.
Several customers were also cited for violations at the time of the arrest.
